Who We Are

About Us

The Sheboygan County Warming Center and the Herb Kohler and Natalie Black Community Cafe work together to provide shelter, meals, and compassion for individuals and families in need.

The Warming Center operates seasonally from November through April, while the Community Cafe offers free meals year-round, Monday - Saturday.

Both programs are located at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 623 Ontario Avenue, Sheboygan, WI, creating a central, welcoming space for our community to gather and receive support. 

Warming Center

The Warming Center is a low-barrier overnight shelter for adults 18 and older. It is focused on providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for individuals experiencing homelessness during the winter months.

Season & Hours:

  • 2025–2026 Season: November 10 – mid-April 
  • Intake: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Community Cafe

The Community Cafe provides free, nutritious meals in a welcoming space where everyone belongs. Open Monday–Saturday from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, the Community Cafe works in partnership with a myriad organizations, volunteers, and businesses to ensure community members have access to food, warmth, and connection.
