about the warming center

About

The Warming Center is a low-barrier winter emergency shelter that provides overnight safety and warmth for adults experiencing homelessness during the coldest months of the year. More than just a place to sleep, the shelter offers a safe and welcoming environment where guests can connect with support, resources, and community. During the 2025–2026 season, the Warming Center served 218 individuals through shelter services.

Seasonal Hours

The Warming Center is currently closed for the season and will reopen the night of November 1st, 2026, to provide overnight shelter during the winter months.
